Experiences

In this project, we are require to create double exposure image and design a poster. The second task which is the poster design task is a collaboration with another module IVN. In this two task, I have learned how to use Photoshop to do double exposure and edit the images using the tools. At the last week of this project, I be able to design a poster on my own using Photoshop for the photographs and Illustrator for typography.

Observations

The challenges I faced in this project were related to the composition of the image. For the first task, the double exposure task, I spent a long time thinking about how to place the images together to create a cohesive double exposure effect. In the second task, poster design, I felt challenged because I needed to highlight the quotation while ensuring the photographs didn’t appear too plain. Through these experiences, I observed that composition is key, as a strong composition can capture the viewer’s attention and draw them in.

Findings

Finally, this is a pleasant activity because we can apply our imagination to make a double exposure image and a poster design. There is no limit or frame to our project; we can do whatever we want. I was very thrilled while working on this project.  I'll apply what I learnt in this assignment to my future job. This module supplied me with a plethora of information.
